I am proud to be part of a company that pay over profits to our charitable trust.
I was initially attracted to Andrews because of the history and at the first interview I was made to feel welcome and as though I was already part of a huge family. With my limited experience I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get a start on the ladder, but Andrews gave me that first step.
I tell people that I work in the property industry - matching people and property. I also tell them that I get to see a variety of different properties and meet a range of people.
I love the variety my job offers. From registering applicants when my colleagues are out on appointments, to helping solve maintenance issues – my job is the most varied in the industry.
In my 11 year career at Andrews, I would say that my biggest personal achievement has been bringing on board new staff and watching them grow within themselves and the company.
The biggest challenge has been the changing market. The property market has had many ups and downs during my career, but keeping positive and keeping customer service your highest priority ensures you keep and win the business.
I started my career as a Trainee Lettings Negotiator, so without the training and development given to me by Andrews, I would undoubtedly not be where I am today – a manager – running two offices.
Unique. Due to our heritage, Andrews stands out from the other property companies. I am a great believer in helping those less fortunate than yourself and Andrews works alongside many charitable organisations. I am proud to be part of a company that pay over profits to our charitable trust which in turn are used for worthy causes.
A good work ethic. You do not need to know anything about property to start your career with Andrews as all the training you need will be given as and when required.
Do it! Andrews are by far one of the most interesting property companies to work for. If you are prepared to give the company your commitment, then you will be looked after, and more importantly rewarded.
