    Working for a competitor, I was up against Andrews on numerous occasions and I always said to myself that if I were to look for another job it would only be Andrews that I moved to, as the way they did business always looked to be fair and ethical compared to other competitive agents. Luckily for me, when I started looking for a new role an opening came up locally with Andrews!

  • What do you tell people who ask what you do?

    I am a Branch Manager Lettings for a large independent agency on Gloucester Road.

  • If no two days are the same, what makes it special for you?

    Being able to manage a team to their full potential, bringing new property to the market for tenants to move into, and also problem solving, complaint resolutions and staffing. Being able to manage my own property management team is also very special, I can guarantee a client will receive great customer service from my branch.

  • What’s been your biggest achievement?

    Hitting my target in my first month of joining Andrews, winning an award for Q4 and being shortlisted for an ESTA, all within my first six months of working here!

  • What’s been your biggest challenge and how did you overcome this?

    Joining an established team, but one that had also been through a huge amount of change in a relatively small amount of time. From day one, I spoke to each team member individually about me and how I saw the branch moving forwards, and since that day I have included each of them in my plan and been clear in the direction of the branch. This, I feel, has kept them focused and positive on how we are to perform as a team.

  • Tell us about the training and development.

    Very organised. From day one, I had my training schedule ready in my email inbox. Having worked for a few other agents, and being an experienced manager, this was amazing and certainly not something I had received before. Each training session has been informative, local and detailed, but whilst keeping a fun, spirited atmosphere at all times. As a manager I have also found all of the learning and development team to be approachable and have been able to gain feedback on my staff whilst on training and enquire as to hints and tips for further in-house training, when required.

  • How would you describe ‘The Spirit of Andrews’?

    Friendly and trusting but leads by example.

  • What do you need to be successful at Andrews?

    You need to be personable, willing to be part of a team and have the want and attitude to be successful.

  • If you knew someone who was going to apply to Andrews, what would you say to them?

    Do it, you will not regret it!!
